The Downtown Development Authority is committed to the downtown business and the community during these uncertain times. To show our support and in an effort to bring us all together, we are placing ribbons in the downtown. We chose red for our love for the community, white for our brave healthcare workers and blue for our first responders keeping us safe. Red, white, and blue is a symbol of our resilience as Americans and we can’t forget that. We hope that you will join us by placing red, white and blue ribbons on your trees, fly your flags high or place a Paw Paw Strong sign in your window to show a sign of your support. In these trying times, it’s hard to stay positive but this will end soon. We all will have a role in America’s recovery. And when it does, let’s fill the streets with laughter, enjoy our local parks, eat at local restaurants, and support the local businesses. This pandemic has affected us all and it’s our sincere hope that one of its effects is that it brings us closer together, and stronger then ever before-Paw Paw Strong – America Strong.
Wondering what all the red, white and blue ribbons are all about? The DDA wants to show our support to the community, healthcare workers and first responders. Every single person has been effected one way or another. Please show your support by flying a flag, tying some ribbon on your trees or placing the Paw Paw Strong sign in your window.
